Valorant reaction time test

Peek duels are decided before you decide anything. Test your raw reaction against the band duelists work toward.

How we keep measurements honest
Tab-switch voids the round

Leave the tab mid-test and the attempt is discarded, not scored.

Sub-80ms is a prediction

Humans can't react faster than ~80ms. Faster taps are flagged and excluded.

Input dedup at 100ms

Double-taps and macro bursts can't inflate a reading.

What is a good valorant reaction time?

Casual players land 220–280 ms. Immortal and Radiant duelists typically sit at 160–200 ms on a 144 Hz or better monitor with a wired mouse.

Why the raw number is not the whole story

In a real match you are also holding an angle, reading sound cues and managing crosshair placement. This test isolates one variable: how long your body takes to start moving after something appears. Use it to track your own baseline over time, not to rank yourself against someone on different hardware.

Frequently asked

What reaction time do Valorant pros have?
Reported 150–200 ms on optimised setups. Monitor refresh rate and mouse polling matter as much as the human.
Does this test aim?
No — it measures pure reaction. Use the Aim Trainer for click precision.
Is this the same as in-game peeking?
No. In-game you also process ability noise, sound and crosshair placement. This isolates the raw number.
