Humans can't react faster than ~80ms. Faster taps are flagged and excluded.
Double-taps and macro bursts can't inflate a reading.
What is an Aim Test?
An aim test measures the core mouse-control skills that FPS gamers rely on: flick accuracy, tracking steadiness and raw clicking speed. At AimTests, we break these down into quick, focused tests you can run in your browser — a CPS test for your clicking speed, a reaction time test for your response speed, and a target-based test for your actual aim.
Why gamers should measure their skills
Esports fundamentals are measurable, just like in traditional sports. Your click speed (measured in CPS) directly affects your output in Minecraft PvP and click-intensive games. Your reaction time decides who fires first in a CS2 or Valorant duel. Your aim stability determines whether you win or lose an aim duel. You can't improve what you don't measure — and with AimTests, measuring takes less than a minute per skill.
What is a good CPS?
For an untrained computer user, 3–5 clicks per second is typical. Gamers who have practiced for a while usually reach 6–8 CPS. Anything above 9 CPS is considered strong, and 10+ CPS approaches the territory of competitive clickers. Try the CPS Test to see where you stand.
What is a good reaction time?
The average human reaction time is around 250–300 ms. Most gamers fall between 200–250 ms. If you consistently score under 200 ms, you're in the top tier — the same range where many professional FPS players operate. Take the Reaction Time Test to check yours.
